About us

We are the Vector Genetics and Control Laboratory at the Pennsylvania State University.  We work at the interface of mosquito genetics and vector-borne disease control. Our lab integrates population biology, ecology, molecular tools and theory to address fundamental and applied questions related to vector arthropods and the pathogens they transmit, with emphasis on release of genetically-modified mosquitoes for disease control, pathogen transmission dynamics and bioterrorism issues. We are located in the new Millennium Science Complex.
